Kuri is a home companion robot from Mayfield Robotics, designed to add personality, entertainment and practical help to everyday life. It maps and navigates the home, detects faces and pets, records five-second 1080p videos, plays music and audiobooks, and supports remote check-ins through its app. Its camera, microphones, speakers, capacitive touch sensors, expressive eyes and heart light enable social interaction. Manufacturing ceased in 2018, and pre-order deposits were refunded to customers. The robot can be driven manually from the app and returns automatically to its charging pad.
