Jilin Province Innovation Center of Bioinspired Robotics (hereinafter referred to as the Center) was officially accredited on April 24, 2025 upon approval by the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Jilin Province. Guided by Academician Ren Luquan of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and led by Professor Ren Lei as its core technical lead, the Center was jointly initiated and founded by five institutions: Jilin Province State-owned Capital, Changxing Fund, Yuequan Bionics, StarNeto and Zidong Taichu. Closely aligned with the Action Plan on "Artificial Intelligence Plus" released by the State Council, rooted in China’s national artificial intelligence development strategy and the demands for industrial transformation and upgrading in Jilin Province, the Center aims to build an innovation platform integrating the industrial ecosystem of bioinspired robotics and embodied intelligence.
